As a self-confessed stationery nerd, paper excites me! We might exist in a digital era, but print is certainly not dead.

There’s something magical about the texture of an uncoated business card, carefully packaging your hand-crafted wares with branded tissue paper or individually writing heartfelt thank you notes printed with your very own logo. All of this together creates an authentic story that connects with your clients. And connected clients are happy clients - happy to return over and happy to shout your name from the rooftops!

Photography has been a long-standing creative outlet in my personal life, so art direction and brand imagery creation seemed a natural progression and a valuable addition to any memorable brand. Partnering alongside my go-to photography whiz, custom brand photoshoots are planned and directed by someone who knows your brand inside and out (hint: me!), creating a bank of artistic, authentic and memorable imagery aligned with your brand.

You’ve decided I’m the designer for you - hooray!

From here, you’ll be supplied with a Welcome Kit and client questionnaire, perfect for extracting those ever-important details ensuring delivery of a design you absolutely adore. Be prepared to deep-dive into your business values, goals and what makes your brand you (coffee sure helps!) We’ll also curate a shared Pinterest board so start collecting alllllll the inspiration.

Strategise

Before I put pen to paper, a bit of sleuth-like research is undertaken. I like to educate myself on your industry and genuinely get inside your brand. All of this information works together to develop your Brand Strategy proposal: a foundational guide for developing a brand that has both substance and beauty. Your business intention is paired with brand values and a visual moodboard then presented for feedback before proceeding to conceptual design stage.

Design

Once your strategy direction is approved, it’s on to the fun stage - concept design!

Ideas are refined then final concepts developed as a full brand story and prepared for client viewing including primary logos and secondary designs alongside detailed design mock-ups, making it all that much easier to imagine how the designs might look IRL. Client feedback is required and any necessary revisions are made to your chosen concept to ensure your final design is just right.

Finalisation

It’s time to wrap this up!

Final logo files are now generated, along with a detailed brand guidelines document to help you navigate your new branding and implement it with confidence and consistency.

Any collateral design items included in your package are now completed at this point.
