Hi, I’m Kristen… crazy plant lady, organised homebody and creative thinker here at The Ink Garden, a graphic design studio based in the picturesque Darling Downs region, Queensland - Australia.

Founded on a love of design and fuelled by creative necessity, the studio was established in 2016 in pursuit of a more fulfilling family/career balance. With over a decade of graphic design experience within the print industry, stepping out in a freelance capacity after becoming a mother was a natural progression and one I’ve not looked back from. My time and creative space is shared with my husband, two darling daughters, our doggos and an ever-expanding collection of greenery.

Truly passionate about beautiful aesthetics, I am honest, genuine and a significant perfectionist whose hobbies include binge-watching true crime documentaries (forever to my detriment), weekend market foraging (often with camera in hand), mint-chip gelato (ice cream is a hobby, yes?) and filling every corner of my home with green, leafy friends.
